Rapture

Everyone says that the End of the World is tonight, say at 6 o'clock. I say God chooses when the Rapture--and consequential rise of t he Antichrist and the Tribulation--occurs.
But what if God DID rapture the church tonight. Are you ready?

Hello

Hi all! Just wanted to say hi to you from my friend JB's house! Hi!
Caleb says: "We are the Three Amigos!"
JB says: "Did you know that the parellel diameter of a hexigonical geometric figure is equal to the square root of x multiplied by -4......I don't know!"
Garrett says: "That car ride last night was crazy!!!".....don't ask.
Bye!

He Did it for You

My mom is flying to Alabama today to meet up with my grandmother. My grandmother is giving us her purple PT Cruiser, which she wants to be mine but will actually be the family's. I can get my permit on June 26, my birthday, so it'll be a ways off before I'm driving it anyways.
I'm almost fifteen; growing up. Ask my mom, ask my dad, you could even ask a friend from my classes who after a two-week break came back and told me I had grown like two or three inches since I had last seen her. And with that growth, other things grow: my spiritual life, my education, my ego (admittedly), but also . . . my trials. I will give an example that should be painfully obvious: girls. Pretty easy one, eh? God says that everyone is tempted, everyone will face trials, and there is always a way out.
One word can say it all: "No." No, I will not be ruled by darkness. For I am in the Light of Jesus. I stumble. We all do. I will fall flat on my face. I will make my God, my Father, my Lord sob with grief over my failures.
But He will never--NEVER--say, "I don't want you. You've fallen too far." No, what He will say is, "I shouldn't do anything. I should let you and your sinful little self rot forever. But I love you. My Son died for you. And I will help you get out of this hole, for My name's sake."
Jesus Christ, who lived physically two thousand years ago, is still alive today. The very people who were waiting for Him to come and save us slaughtered Him. But through the power of He who holds all power, He is risen! He is risen! And because of that, we find that we can know God. We find that behind the veil is a wondrous, glorious, fulfilling Light. And this Light blots out our past faults.
Does that mean we can just sit down and do nothing, saying, "God will do it for me." NO! It takes committment! It takes the will to say, "No, I will not do that again. I will not fall. But IF I do, I will get back up and live better."
God knows you'll fail. That's who we are. But all He asks of you is this: that you know Him, know His mercy, know His grace, and do your best. Forgiveness is there for the taking. As a friend of mine said, "Mercy is not getting what you deserve. Grace is getting what you don't deserve." And God is offering you life and purpose and love--He's offering you grace.

My one thing is I am praying I'm not saying this wrong. So here's the bottom line: we mess up everyday.
The second glance is a killer.
Oh man, I shouldn't have said that!
Did you hear about her?
Nobody will ever know . . .
God says, "To be honest, you're messed up. But you know what? See that guy over there? That's my son. You see the marks on his hands and feet? He died for you. He said, 'Father, we have to help them.' So you know what I said? I said, 'I love them, even through their faults. Let's give them a second chance."
And that chance comes in the form of a gift. To quote Wayne Thomas Batson, "Believe and enter." Enter into the joy of your master, who loves you enough to sacrifice His own son.
He did it for you.

Feed the Machine, Red

Hi again! I wanted to post another song by Red because I personally feel this one sometimes. We all do. In a way, this one's about peer pressure, about what the world tells us. The world tells us all sorts of lie--key word being LIES--and wants us to just lay down, believe them, and go back to sleep. This machine--this process--is what Satan wants. But we can't give it to him. We have to wake up from out stupor, from our sleep, and scream from the rooftops: "We will not stay asleep. We will wake up, and defeat, destroy, and eradicate the devil's machinations of lies!"

Feed the Machine, Until We Have Faces, Red

Turn around, they might be watching
And you never disappoint them
Hide your innocence before they see right through
You mustn't disappoint thenm

"You need the danger just to feel your heart beat
You need to die just to find your identity
You need the knife just to know that you can bleed
You need the pain now just to feel anything!"

We fall in line, we live the lie
(Get up, get up and feed the machine!)
It grows inside, nowhere to hide
(Get up, get up and feed the machine!)

They pull you faster, the cadence calling
And you never fall behind
So choose a face, you're only crawling now
You mustn't fall behind

"You need another death just to have a life to save
You need a master just so you can beg
You need a light now because you're so afraid
Now bow down and learn to be a good slave"

We fall in line, we live the lie
(Get up, get up and feed the machine!)
It grows inside, nowhere to hide
(Get up, get up and feed the machine!)

Shh...Sleep
Shh...
Shh...Go back to sleep
Ohh...Go back to sleep
WAKE UP! WAKE UP! WAKE UP!
WAAAAAKE UPPPPPP!

We fall in line, we live the lie
(Get up, get up and feed the machine!)
It grows inside, nowhere to hide
(Wake up, wake up and kill the machine!
Wake up, wake up and kill the machine!)

Faceless, by Red

The song Faceless, by my favorite band "Red," is probably my favorite song ever. Red is a Christian band like a harder version of Skillet. This song is about the fact that we are Faceless (we have no identity, no purpose) without Christ.

A voice screaming from within
Begging just to breathe again
Can't find who I am
Without You near me
I'd give anything to live,
'Cuz without You I don't exist
You're the only one who saves me from myself

I abandoned this love
And laid it to rest
And now I'm one of the forgotten

I'm not, I'm not myself
Feel like I'm someone else
Fallen and faceless, so hollow, hollow inside
A part of me is dead
I need You to live again
Can You replace this?
I'm hollow, hollow and faceless!

Shadows growing in my mind
Ones I just can't leave bbehind
I'm not strong enough to pay this ransom
One more monster crawled inside
But I swear I saw it die
Can You save me from what I've become?

I abandoned this love
And laid it to rest
But now I'm one of the forgotten

I'm not, I'm not myself
Feel like I'm someone else
Fallen and faceless, so hollow, hollow inside
A part of me is dead
Need You to live again
Can You replace this?
I'm hollow, hollow and faceless

We are the faceless
We are the nameless
We are the hopeless
Until we have faces!

I'm not I'm not myself
Feel like I'm somone else
Fallen and faceless, so hollow, hollow inside
A part of me is dead
I need You to live again
Can You replace this?
I'm hollow, hollow and faceless

The End of Days

I've pretty much always been fascinated by End Times prophecy and the overall study of the End Times. I love the book of Revelations. Left Behind by Tim Lahaye and Jerry B. Jenkins is one of my favorites.
I'm convinced that we're living at the End of Time. How much longer do we have? I can't say. But soon.
Soon.
Why do I think that?
Look around and tell me what you see. I see disaster, chaos, and debauchery. The eastern coast of Japan is toast. Tuscaloosa, one of Alabama's more prominent and known cities, is toast. Libya is imploding. So is Egypt, and Palestine. Terrorism is a major pasttime. People don't care about God, and have few, if any, morals.
This world is dying. Going to hell in a handbasket. And we're letting it.
What can we do?
The answer to that, I believe, is to wait, watch, pray, and to show the world there is a better way. One Way.

Thoughts of a Fanatic . . . the Fanatic

Hi all! Call me the Fanatic. I am an aspiring author and musician, maybe like many other people, but with a twist. If this throws you away from my blog, so be it, because this will be what my blog is about.
I am a fanatical Christ-follower.
I'll be posting about everything from my day, week, etc., some hints about my writing, different prayer needs, and more, but also a lot of my interpretations of God's Word, the Bible. Sometimes I'll take a song and analyze it. Sometimes a book, or a passage of a book. Who knows? These are the thoughts of a fanatic.

Where to begin? Well, I'll start with one of my favorite Scripture passages: 1 Peter 1:18-25.

"18 For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And the ransom he paid was not mere gold or silver. 19 It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God. 20 God chose him as your ransom long before the world began, but he has now revealed him to you in these last days.
21 Through Christ you have come to trust in God. And you have placed your faith and hope in God because he raised Christ from the dead and gave him great glory.
22 You were cleansed from your sins when you obeyed the truth, so now you must show sincere love to each other as brothers and sisters. Love each other deeply with all your heart.
23 For you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. Your new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God. 24 As the Scriptures say,
“People are like grass;
their beauty is like a flower in the field.
The grass withers and the flower fades.
25 But the word of the Lord remains forever.”
And that word is the Good News that was preached to you."

Need I say more about this passage? As an opening, I'd say this is a very good passage. "And the ransom he paid was not mere gold or silver. It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God." Amen.
